Acrylic cutting & Etching

This Ducati motorbike is 250mm long and was laser etched and cut in 3mm acrylic. It sits in a base made from 6mm acrylic that has been laser cut and etched.

This job was for Kosdown Printing in Port Melbourne to be used for promotion at the Australian Moto GP.

Tea-light Candle Holders

Bland objects can easily be personalised and used for gifts, placed around the home or feature in a memorabilia collection.

Here, simple mirrored tea-light candle holders have been laser etched and used in a Mustang model car collection. They look great during the day and even better at night when back-lit by a candle.

These would also make a fantastic addition to a table setting such as a wedding reception with the names of the bride & groom and the date.

Bottle Etching and Awards

As a supporter of the Hobsons Bay CIty Band, a laser-etched bottle of whiskey was presented as a gift to one of the members as a token of gratutude.

The awards were constructed of a laser-etched wood block backing with a piece of 3mm acrylic placed in front that has been laser-etched and cut.

Etched bottles and glasses make great gifts that are much more personal, or can be used to help promote your business or club.

Etched Tiles

Stone, granite, marble and ceramic tiles can be laser-etched with text and/or graphics and can be incorporated into awards, placed onto a tiled wall or can have a felt back applied and used as personalised drink coasters.

Laser-etched Mirrors

Fantastic for gifts or general keep-sakes. Mirrors can be etched front and/or back with a combination of images or text for a personal touch.

Mirrors can be supplied in a frame, with a strut on the back so they are free-standing, mounted to a wood block, or just as a tile should you wish to incorporate it into your own project.

Acrylic and Wood Awards

Laser-etched acrylic awards can be custom-made to suit any particular application.

Two common styles are free-standing with an acrylic etched and cut section inserted into a wood base or screwed onto a wood backing with spacers.

Wood etching

Wood can be laser-etched with images or line art. Different wood species have different results.

The two examples here were on 6mm Plyboard and an ice-cream stick.
